By using our services, you will receive communications via email or SMS relating to actions you perform on your account (such as placing an order or making an account change). You may also receive account related communications should something change on your account which are not performed by you (such as a refund being made by an administrator). This can sometimes require information to be passed to us by these group organisations, which we are not in control. However, should you wish to inform us directly that you are no longer an active member of said groups, we can progress with the deletion of your personal data for you. Should you wish to delete your user account, please email us at support(at)shopkeepeasy.com. Please email us from the email address that the account is registered to. Once you have confirmed that you wish to delete your account, we will then delete it, along with your contact data (address/email/phone) linked to that account for historical orders.
For administration, legal and consumer right reasons, the historical order data (including the order number, items ordered, value (including tax), address sent, gift aid address used (if applicable) and name) will remain attached to that order. However, it will no longer be linked to a customer account as it will have been deleted, along with any of your personal contact details (such as phone/email and other address information).
Under the GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 (DPA) you have a number of rights with regards your personal data. You have the right to request from us access to and rectification or erasure of your personal data, the right to restrict processing, object to processing as well as in certain circumstances the right to data portability.
If you have provided consent for hte processing of your data you have the right (in certain circumstances) to withdraw that consent at any time which will not affect the lawfulness of the processing before your consent is withdrawn.
You have the right to lodge a complaint to the Information Commissioner's Office if you believe that we have not complied with the requirements of the GDPR or DPA with regards your your personal data.
