Al Kline is the President of the Watercolour Society of South Texas.  

Originally born in Holland, Al moved to the United States as a young child and showed an interest in art at a young age. Al spent the majority of his professional life in the medical field. However, in 2017, he re-discovered the art of drawing and watercolour and was voted as president of the Watercolour Society of South Texas in 2018.

Through teaching, and now online instruction, he has gained international recognition as a watercolour artist.  He has won numerous awards in both local and state-wide shows.
