Currently, Antonio lives in Torres Vedras, Portugal. Throughout his career he has participated in several exhibitions both collective and individual in Portugal and abroad. António had his watercolours exhibited in France, Spain, Canada, Belgium, Greece, Morocco, Italy, Brazil, Mexico, Czech Republic, India, Malaysia, Indonesia, Russia, China, Pakistan, USA and Switzerland.

 Besides being and artist he also gives workshops and watercolour. António Bártolo is both IWS Portugal Country leader and IWS board member.

​António has collaborated in several watercolour related projects: Encontro Internacional de Aguarela de Santa Cruz; International Watercolour Meeting of Caldas da Rainha; Portugal country leader in Inarte Fabriano in Aquarello – Italy. He has also been publicised in several publications: “Balade poétique” by request of Villenave d’Ornon city Hall– France; “Diário de uma Cidade” by request Torres Vedras City Hall.
