UNIFORM POLICY

Winter uniform (worn after October half term until the Easter break) comprises of tailored navy trousers, skirt or pinafore dress with a white cotton shirt, school tie and navy sweatshirt or cardigan (with or without the school logo)

Summer Uniform (worn after the Easter Break until October half term) comprises of navy tailored shorts or trousers or skirt with a white short sleeved polo shirt or cotton tailored shirt (no ties) Navy sweatshirts or cardigans are optional.

Black, brown or navy “leather look” shoes should be worn (no trainers, flip flops or sling backs) Wellingtons or boots can be worn to school then changed for inside. Trainers or plimsolls may be worn at playtimes but adults will ask that these are changed once inside the building.

All hair accessories should be simple and black, white, brown or blue in colour.

PE kit consists of black shorts and a plain round necked white t-shirt (no polo shirts as we cannot tell if they have changed!), with plimsolls or trainers. No football kits or other sportswear please! In colder weather plain black, jogging bottoms and zip up top or our school logo tracksuit or logo fleece are acceptable. These should be kept in either a Collingwood logo draw string bag or a very small named rucksack. We are not able to accommodate larger bags and these are not condusive to pupil’s back health.

All children will require a navy Collingwood School book bag bearing our school logo which can be purchased from Patricia’s Uniform shop opposite the library or by following the Tesco Uniform link on this page. Optional tracksuits and outdoors fleeces are also available bearing the school logo.

Jewellery other than a watch and small stud type earrings (gold silver blue or white) should not be worn. Pupils need to be able to remove their own earrings for all PE sessions as staff are not allowed to do this for them and taping over earrings is not safe. Unfortunately, any child wearing earrings will miss out on PE and other physical activity until they are removed.
