Latha Palackavayalil works primarily in watercolors, as well as in mixed media. What attracts her to the medium of watercolor is it's transparency, unpredictability, and the

 luminous effects it creates, which is magical. She never copies the subject, but interprets it. Her works are evocative, which shows her deep passion to the subject. Her passion

 to the medium compels her to explore it further.  Her paintings have been juried into regional, national and international exhibits in the United States.  She is a signature member

 of the Virginia watercolor society.
