Morley Primary School
Uniform Policy
Morley pupils are proud of their uniform and do their best to look smart and represent the school’s high standards at all times. Our school colours and royal blue and gold. Our logo is an owl which represents wisdom, and our beautiful rural location.
The staff and Governors would like all children to abide by the school’s dress code.
Our uniform consists of:
In the interest of Health and Safety and security, pupils should not wear jewellery in school. Children may wear a small pair of plain studs if they have pierced ears, but these will need to be removed, by the pupil, for PE and swimming. We suggest that children do not wear earrings on these days. Hair ribbons and bobbles should be plain blue. Children should not wear nail varnish or other make-up. We request that ears should only be pierced in the summer holidays.
Equipment for Physical Education
Our PE programme includes the teaching of outdoor games and skills, gymnastics, dance and swimming throughout the year. The children will require the following essential equipment:
Children in Years 3 to 5 attend swimming each week.
Please label all items of uniform. We do our best to return items to owners, and we have a Lost Property box located in the Disabled Facilities, but it is sometimes difficult to match child to clothing.
