Though I enjoy working with various media, what draws me to watercolors is their unpredictability. The way that the colors mingle and react on a wet paper feels like sheer magic to me. Watercolors possess an airiness and transparency that no other media does.

Like most kids, I would draw and paint everyday, but studies, jobs and life got in the way, and days turned to weeks, which turned into months. It wasn’t until recently that I decided to give it a proper go and with watercolors, it was love at first brushstroke.

Just like there is music for every mood, the colors that I choose depend on what I’m feeling in that moment. And from that color palette evolves the composition and subject.
